 Brussels to Host Emergency Meeting on Ukraine Today

By the initiative of Ukraine, today in Brussels an emergency meeting of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs will be held to discuss the current situation in the country.

It is reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry, Censor.NET informs.

Commenting on the initiative, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that despite the new international context of the situation in Ukraine, which formed after the tragedy with the Malaysian aircraft, and despite the obvious involvement of illegal terrorist groups operating with the direct assistance from Moscow in this crime, Russia continues to ignore the demands of the international community and refuses to take a constructive position with a view to de-escalate the situation.

Earlier, Germany, France and Britain declared that if Russia did not influence terrorists by July 22 for them to provide access of international investigators to the downed Boeing 777, the European Union would determine the consequences for Moscow.
