Russian military aviation continues the air reconnaissance and patrolling along Ukrainian border.

The press-service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense informed Censor.NET that at 11.40 a.m. Ukrainian border guards registered eight Russian helicopters flying along Ukrainian border right opposite the sector of the border, guarded by the border guard unit Amvrosiivka of the Donetsk border guard detachment.

On July 18 at 03.55 a.m. flight of air drone along the coastline towards the town of Novoasovsk were registered.

In the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, seventeen border checkpoints out of thirty are functioning now.

At thirteen checkpoints, no control or registering is carried out for the moment.

At nine checkpoints, amongst them five international, four automobile and one railroad, any movement is forbidden by decision of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers.

Two railroad border checkpoints are out of service due to destroyed customs equipment.

Two airport border checkpoints are out of service due to destroyed airport infrastructure (the Donetsk and Luhansk international airports).
