 Petro Poroshenko Held Phone Conversations with Barack Obama and Joseph Biden

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held phone conversations with President of the United States Barack Obama and Vice President of the United States Joseph Biden in the course of which he expressed condolences to American people over the death of American citizens in the crash of Malaysia Airlines aircraft over the territory of Donetsk region.

Censor.NET reports about it, citing the press serviceof the Head of State.

Petro Poroshenko informed the American party on conversationswith Prime Ministers of the Netherlands and Malaysia and said thathe had invited experts of these countries, as well as the ICAOexperts to join the full-scale investigation of the circumstancesof the given tragedy.

In response, President Obama stated that the given tragedy hadshocked the whole world. He commended the willingness of Ukraine tocarry out maximally transparent international investigation ofreasons and circumstances of the tragedy. In his turn, Joseph Bidennoted that the call for international investigation was a wisedecision and that the United States would consider the possibilityof sending American experts from the Transportation SecurityAdministration.
