Energy carrier prices in Europe are climbing after the reported downing of Malaysia Airlines’ Boeing by Russian terrorists above the territory of Ukraine.

Wholesale gas prices in Europe have popped up for 5%, Censor.NET reports, citing ITAR-TASS. WTI oil is now almost 2% more expensive, selling at $103.07 per barrel, Brent oil price has risen by 0.7% reaching $107.88. The members of the market fear that the disaster might result in another deterioration of relations with Russia.
