This was stated by Presidential Commissioner for thepeaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine IrynaHerashchenko during a meeting at the Presidential Administration onensuring the rights of children, Censor.NET reports.
Herashchenko stressedthat particularly troubling are the attempts to involve children inthe armed conflict, and by use of force and in violation of the lawto take orphans into the territory of the Russian Federation, aswell as aggressive use of children in dirty media campaign launchedby the Russian media.
Today, according to theinformation of the Presidential Administration, 600 orphans are inthe Donetsk region with children's homes, health resorts andfamilies in other regions of Ukraine willing to accept them. Butthe militants keep the children in orphanages threatening theirheads and blackmailing their transportation to Russia. TheCommissioner criticized the "false news stories on Russiantelevision about the alleged abuse of children by the Ukrainianarmy."
"Ukraine will not allowtaking our children, lying about them, and distributing nonsensescary stories to the world created by the Kremlin manipulators.Journalists who make these stories will be denied the right to"tour" Ukraine. We will appeal to the world to condemn the authorsand ideologues of such "journalism," Herashchenko said.
