 Terrorists Plotted to Blow up Editorial Offices in Zaporizhia and Attempted on Top Regional Officials

According to him, six members of the gang were arrested this night (00.20 a.m.) by the SSU directly at the moment when they were putting an explosive device in an annex of the Press House (the building on the main avenue of Zaporizhia, which houses most of the editorial offices of local newspapers and magazines - Ed.).

"Also they were planning to assassinate the top officials of the region," Baranov said.

According to the Regional Department of SSU in the Zaporizhia, at the moment all six members of the terrorist group (the eldest of them is 63 years old and the youngest is 29) are detained. The explosive device, equivalent to 600 grams of TNT, was seized and sent for examination.
