 DTEK Suspends Operation of 4 Mines in Luhansk Region after Terrorists Attacked a Bus with Miners

On July 11, the private energy holding DTEK controlled by Rinat Akhmetov stopped the work of 4 mines in the Luhansk region after a bus with miners was shot at yesterday.

This was stated by DTEK CEO Maksym Tymchenko at a press conference in Kyiv, Censor.NET reports with reference to UNIAN.

"After yesterday's events we have decided to suspend the work of 4 mines in the Luhansk region that employ 4.5 thousand people," he said.

According to him, these are Chervonyi Partyzan, Rovenky, Luhansk and 71-Industriia. Also today, two enrichment plants were halted.

Also the head of DTEK said that during yesterday's shelling of the bus with the miners of DTEK 4 people died, 16 were wounded including two with severe injuries. The latter are in intensive care.
