 ATO Forces Regain Control of Izvaryne Border Crossing Point

The ATO forces took control of the border crossing point Izvarino in the Luhansk region following the recapture of Chervonopartyzansk.

It is reported by Censor.NET citing the press center of the ATO.

"In the recovery and unblocking the Ukrainian border and taking control of border crossings Chervonopartyzansk and Izvaryne the personnel of the Armed Forces showed courage and heroism. The following people distinguished themselves in the combat missions: Captain Voytenko Ivan who skillfully led combat units in collaboration with other ATO units and subunits; Lieutenant Shtoiura Oleksandr who showed courage and heroism in leading a convoy with ammunition. When the convoy tripped on a land mine he did not stop and led the unit out with no losses as well as delivered the ammunition to its destination at the firing position; Senior Lieutenant Rozhkov Mykola who aptly conducted reconnaissance, revealed a group of separatists and engaged them after which he successfully led the group to safety with no casualties; Senior Lieutenant Ruzevych Mykola who skillfully led his platoon in the battle, took on a large number of separatists and without losing a single soldier repelled the attack," the statement says.
