It is reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
"In general, most Kramatorsk post offices have opened up and are already providing a wide range of postal services. 9 post offices where you can conduct basic operations have opened up in Sloviansk. The other offices are in the process of demining. 10 branches have broken windows," the statement said.
According to the report, pension payouts in Sloviansk will begin before the end of the week, as soon as Ukrposhta receives pension statements and cash funds.
"One of the priorities of Ukrposhta is to provide a social function - the payment of pensions and financial assistance to the population. Despite the difficult situation Ukrpochta continues to accept and deliver mail, while private operators have long ago refused to work in the risk zone," head of Ukrposhta Mykhailo Pankiv noted.
In particular, long distance routes of mail transportation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions have been restored. The situation in the transport routes in eastern Ukraine is monitored daily in an online mode and decisions to adjust routes are based on safety.
