Russian Banks Cooperate with the Security Service of Ukraine to Fight against Terrorism - Nalyvaichenko

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has no tension with Russian banks that work in Ukraine: on demand of the SSU, they immediately close accounts, used to send money for the terrorists.

"We do not blame the banks or their management. If we demand, they close the accounts, used by the terrorists. So, we have full cooperation with them," the head of the Security Service Valentyn Nalyvaichenko said in an interview to Interfax-Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.

He explained that he is talking about five banks, among them also large ones.

Nalyvaichenko added that there is no need to name the banks, used to transfer funds, because Ukrainians are customers of these banks.

"There is no resistance from the banks. In general, our country has all the tools to prevent financing of terrorism," he said.
