This was stated by Defense Minister Mykhailo Koval at a briefing, Censor.NET informs citing Liga.
"Our rocket artillery, especially in residential areas, is not being used. I'll tell you more, the President, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces clearly set the objectives of the army - no use of weapons against civilians in any case. I and my staff are responsible for the implementation of this task with our heads," he said.
Commenting on the information that yesterday there were large civilian casualties as a result of the army's actions in Luhansk, Koval said: "We did not fire at Luhansk yesterday. It is absolutely not true. I've already told you that we are prohibited to fire at towns."
