Poroshenko May Renew the Truce if a Number of Conditions are Carried out

The President of Ukraine can return to ceasefire in the Donbas, as soon as basic conditions mentioned in the decision of the European Council on 27 June are met.

The list of main conditions includes bilateral ceasefire, establishing control of the border with the OSCE monitoring, the release of all hostages, and meaningful consultation without any additional conditions.

This position was expressed by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Valerii Chalyi on July 2 meeting with the diplomatic corps, Censor.NET reports quoting the press service of the Head of State.

"The President has done everything to give a chance to everyone who wants peace in the country. But, unfortunately, this call has not yet found an adequate response. Time of the ceasefire has expired," Chalyi noted.
