According to the report, the criminal groupinvolved seven Kharkivresidents from 25 to 50 years old. Their activities werecoordinated by the self-proclaimed"Luhansk People'sRepublic" (LPR).
"Candidates for terroristgroups were selected from among persons who have theskills for handling weaponsand experience ofparticipating in militaryactions. For killingUkrainian soldiers, therecruiters promised monetaryrewards," the statementsaid.
SSU detained all members ofthe criminal group together with its leader and recruited mercenaries during theirattempts to go toLugansk to participatein illegal armedgroups.
