 In Spite of Poroshenko's Peace Plan, Militants Continue Attacking ATO Forces - Ministry of Defence

On June 28 the situation in ATO region remains tense.

This is reported by Censor.NETreferring to the Ministry of Defence press center.

According to the report, the efforts of the Army and ATO forces were focused on isolation of certain areas, duty at checkpoints, elimination of the terrorists, and defence of the state border in the eastern part of Ukraine.

In spite of the Poroshenko's peace plan for the eastern regions of Ukraine, militants continue attacking ATO forces. During the last 24 hours terrorists fired at the Army's positions near Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Chervonopartyzansk, Dmytrivka 7 times. The Armed Forces of Ukraine took control over the first checkpoint number 1 near Sloviansk.

Also reported that the terrorists shelled ATO forces based at the Kramatorsk airfield. The militants were using mortars. There are no Ukrainian troops casualties in the battle.

Terrorists shelled the positions of the Ukrainian troops using mortars and grenade launchers near Dubrovka village. Terrorists have also released 7 bombs towards the gas distribution station located in the area. No casualties among ATO forces.

The ATO checkpoint near Kryva Luka village (Donetsk region) was fired with mortars. There are no casualties among the security forces personnel.
