U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday spoke with French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the subject of Russian crisis.

Obama, Hollande, and Merkel welcomed Poroshenko's cease-fire and urged Russia to pull back its military presence on the border in order to settle down the situation in Ukraine. It is reported by Voice of America, Censor.NET writes.

The heads of the states urged Russia to pull back its military presence on the border, stop the flow of weapons and militants across the boundary, and use its clout to persuade separatists to stand down.
