The efficiency of aviation is remarkably reduces due to the terrorists' air-defense capabilities," Tymchuk says
He also emphasizes that the State Border Service have recruited volunteers to strengthen units operating near the border with Russia. 200 people with appropriate military skills were already recruited. They are currently sharpening their skills at the State Border Service training facility. They will be brought to various sections of the Ukrainian-Russian border after that.
In addition, the State Border Service and Armed Forces of Ukraine strengthen the military guard of the section of the administrative border in the Kherson region with Crimea. Units with armored vehicles are also attracted.
Measures to enhance the protection of the coast of the Azov Sea have also been taken. 5 marine squads of the State Border Service currently patrols this sea area day and night. 2 more squads are in reserve. The sea direction from Genichesk to Mariupol and Novoazovsk is completely under controll.
