 Verkhovna Rada Dismissed Deshchytsia and Appointed Klimkin as Foreign Minister

The Parliament of Ukraine supported dismissal of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrii Deshchytsia.

319 MPs voted f or the resolution, Censor.NET informs.

Also the Verkhovna Rada appointed head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin. His candidacy was supported by 335 deputies. Thereafter, the newly elected minister sworn allegiance to Ukraine from the parliamentary tribune.

Yesterday President Poroshenko intiated Deshchytsia's dismissal and appointment of Klimkin a new Foreign Minister.
