 Terrorists Kidnapped Border Patrol Reserve Colonel

In Svitlychne village of the Luhansk region, gunmen burst into a private house and kidnapped a pensioner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a reserve Colonel of the Border Patrol.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the Public Relations Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Luhansk region.

"On June 15 at 2.00 p.m. unknown persons wearing camouflage clothing and masks and armed with automatic weapons, broke into the house of citizen B (born 1961) on Mira street in Svitlychne village and forced Boiko Vladimir Petrovich (born 1963, retired from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel of the Border Patrol) into the car of the house owner and took him away in an unknown direction," the statement said.

This fact is registered in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Search operations to locate the kidnapped man are being conducted.
