Naftogaz Ukrainy confirms its readiness to refer to the Stockholm Arbitration, demanding the revision of gas contracts with Russia.

This was stated by head of Naftogaz Andrii Kobolev after another round of trilateral talks of Russia-Ukraine-EU, according to RIA Novosti, Censor.NET reports.

"We are ready. I confirm it," he told reporters after the gas talks in Kyiv.

"The lawsuit has been drawn up and the decision may be made tomorrow," said Head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy Yurii Prodan.

According to him, Russia was not set to find a market compromise on gas while Ukraine is prepared for restrictions of gas supply."

"With each round of negotiations, we have seen that the Russian side was virtually uninterested in finding a market compromise. Russian side is set to escalate the conflict and did not go for any compromise and very specific proposals voiced by the European Commission," Prodan said.

According to him, Ukraine is ready for restrictions of gas supply by Russia.

"We now have over 13.5 billion cubic meters of gas in storage. The Ukrainian side is ready for such a development today. We did quite a big work related to the increase of reverse supply from Europe, and I think that together with the European Commission we will look for ways to increase the reverse supply from Europe," Prodan said.
