This was announced by Gazprom CEO AlexeyMiller after a meeting with European Commissioner for EnergyGunther Oettinger, Censor.NET reports citing ITAR-TASS.
"TheRussian side has made a step forward to continue constructivenegotiations. Prepayment mode will not be implemented on Wednesdayat 10 a.m. and its introduction has been postponed until 10 a.m.next Monday (June 16)," Miller said. He noted that "correspondinginstructions have already been issued to Gazprom."
Millerstressed that the Russian side "is expecting constructivenegotiations" with the Ukrainian delegation and the EuropeanCommission. Trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the EUwill resume today at 09:30 Brussels time. They will be preceded bybilateral negotiations of the European Commission with Russia andUkraine.
Previously, on June 9, a round of gas talks betweenUkraine, Russia and the EU yielded no results.
