This was stated by the head of the Center for Military-Political Studies, coordinator of the "Information Resistance" group Dmytro Tymchuk at a briefing in Kiev, UNIAN reports.
Tymchuk noted that over the past few days, the actions of the ATO were rather successful. He believes that today the right steps to resolve the situation are being taken but they are taken with serious delay.
"I am confident that if many of these steps that are taken now, would have been taken in late March or early April, we would lost much less blood to solve the problems that we see in the East of Ukraine," said the expert.
Moreover, according to Tymchuk, success is often brought by actions of individual structures of the ATO. At the same time, the issue of cooperation between different law enforcement agencies leaves questions and Tymchuk hopes that necessary adjustments will soon be made.
Speaking about the possibility of assault on Sloviansk, Tymchuk noted that if a bloodless assault on the city was possible, it would have already taken place.
