Before Assassination Attempt I was Threatened by Azarov’s Assistant

President of FC Arsenal (Kyiv), businessman Vadim Rabinovich said that a few days before the attack he was offered to sell the first Jewish international news channel Jewish News One (JN1).

He said this in a comment to UNIAN.

"A deputy, Assistant to the Prime Minister said that if I do not sign the channel over within a week, I will sign it over anyway but after the use of force, assassinations and trouble," said Rabinovich.

The businessman said that after the conversation took place, he appealed to the Prosecutor General.

"Before the attempt no one even called to ask me what is going on," he said.

According to Rabinovich, when he turned to the police, the report of the incident has been described as hooliganism. At the same time, the businessman cannot say with certainty whether this formulation was prepared in advance or not.

On March 4, at about 4.00 p.m. in the metro station Klovska (Mechnikova street) an attempt on the life of Rabinovich was made. No one was hurt.

On March 5 the metropolitan police reported that criminal proceedings on "hooliganism" have been initiated in connection with the attempted suicide car Rabinovich.
