Thiswas announced in a statement released by the press service of theState Penitentiary Service of Ukraine.
The ministry reported that today, the mainoffice of the Kachanivska colony received several statements fromTymoshenko in which among other things, she points to a violationof her rights and demands to remove the surveillance cameras fromthe hospital room - "despite the fact that the court decisionconfirming the legality of the SPS actions regarding theimplementation of CCTV has been provided for acquaintance to theconvict."
In addition, it is reported that the colony'smain office also received an complaint from Tymoshenko where sheexpresses a wish to participate in the trial, which is scheduledfor February 19 this year, in the Kyiv Court of Appeals where ahearing of a witness in the Yevhen Shcherban assassination case isto take place.
"SPS started organizing the preparations forescorting the convicted. Later, in the evening, the court informedthe prison service that the questioning of the witness will not beheld on 19 February 2013 because of the witnesses' illness. Thisinformation was communicated to the condemned. In this regard, theneed for escorting Tymoshenko ceased to exist," the press servicesaid.
