Witness in the Shcherban Case is Confused in Testimony: I Used Cunning but Now we Need the Truth to Prevail

The court adjourned the cross-examination of a witness in the murder of Yevhen Shcherban.

Censor.NET correspondent reports that the witness was confused in his testimony.

Thus, he could not clearly answer the question, what Tymoshenko was wearing when she allegedly met with Kushnir and Ilchenko in the lobby of the International hotel: "Tymoshenko had a Chanel bag. No, the bag was Gucci, but she smelled Chanel". He also could not say where exactly in the lobby they were talking."

Answering persistent questions of the defense to answer why it is only now that declared Tymoshenko's involvement in the case, he first said that he previously mentioned it to the investigators but they ignored this information. Answering the question why he had not told this to Luhansk court, he replied: "I did not tell them. I used cunning. But now I decided that the truth must prevail."

Also, according to the witness, he personally did not see a payment document with the signature of Tymoshenko, by which one can understand that the money was transferred for Shcherban assassination.
