Rada Could Not Dismiss Head of NBU Arbuzov: Regions and Communists Could not Get 226 Votes

90 deputies did not vote at all.

Deputies could not pass the decision on dismissal of the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, reports Censor.NET.

217 deputies voted for the decision, 42 - against, 40 - abstained, and 90 did not vote.

This decision was preceded by a violent reaction of the opposition. Head of Batkivschyna Arseniy Yatsenyuk demanded Arbuzov to come to Parliament and to report on his work. At the same time, the President's representative in the Verkhovna Rada Yurii Miroshnychenko asked not to promote debates and simply vote.

"Report of the NBU is required by law indeed, but in no way connected with the procedure of dismissal," said Miroshnychenko.

Svoboda also demanded the report of the NBU head.

The reconsideration voting did not get the sufficient number - 221 deputies voted for.
