According toIlchenko, it was made to hand the demands of miners to owner RinatAkhmetov and Luhansk oblast governor VolodymyrPrystiuk.
"The members ofthe independent miners union, knowing that their demands will notbe met, seized the Red Partisan mine director's office. We willpass their demands only to the owner Rinat Akhmetov and governorVolodymyr Prystiuk. We will stand until the end, our claims arejust, and we ask all honest citizens to support us," saidIlchenko.
First of all, theminers demand to cancel the order CEO of DTEK LLC Sverdlovantratsitdirector "On changing the organizational structure ...» # 405 of 21December 2012, which, according to them, initiates layoffs. Theyalso demand to stop forcing employees to sign notice ofdismissal.
Also, the demandsinclude payment of 13th salary, the introduction of new tariffrates and salaries. Additionally the miners demand to solve anumber of personnel issues and recognize the rights of theIndependent Trade Union.
Ilchenko said thatin the case of ignoring the demands of the Independent Trade Unionof Sverdlovsk, "we will have to set political demands to thePresident of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.
The Union alsointends to seek the support of the PACE, OSCE, ILO and otherinternational organizations, and insist on a special investigationof the violations of human rights and labor law inUkraine.
On 21 December2012, the representatives of the Independent Trade Union forciblyentered the office of the director of the Red Partisan mine to givea list of requirements, the essence of which was to spread therules of the collective agreement on the members of the IndependentTrade Union and give them the same rights as members of CoalIndustry Workers Union.
