"I believe that Ukraine should consider adapting the national legislation in accordance with the Customs Union regulations that would not conflict with our international obligations. Experts on both sides are working on the issue now," said Yanukovych.
According to the head of the Ukrainian state, it was planned that by 18 December during Yanukovych's working visit to Moscow the sides will prepare specific proposals.
"But the meeting had to be postponed to a later date due to the fact that experts have not been able to agree on all the details of future agreements," said the President.
Yanukovych said that Ukraine is looking for the tools and opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation with the Customs Union.
"It should not be forgotten that the Customs Union is a huge market for Ukrainian products, Ukrainian trade with the organization exceeds 60 billion U.S. dollars," concluded the President.
