Yesterday deputy Volodymyr Maltsev was engaged in choosing firearms from Switzerland. He paid a lot of attention to B & T Advanced Police Carbine sub-machine gun, reported Censor.NET.
This type of weapon was designed primarily for military and police use.
The selected list also included small arms Brugger+Thomet MP-9 - submachine gun which is small and light, the size and weight only a little bigger than automatic pistols. It is known for its accurate shooting. This weapon allows to conduct aimed fire with one hand, its design allows for quick installation of silencer and various accessories.
It should be noted that Maltsev is not an aggressive deputy, and rarely participates in the parliamentary brawls. He rarely comes to the parliament at all. At least this was the case in the sixth convocation. May be in the seventh one his discipline will improve. But on December 25 he came to the meeting, and was caught selecting firearms during the session. Though, the deputy himself denies everything.
"I'm not that interested guns," Maltsev said to Komsomolskaia Pravda in Ukraine. "I do not know what was on the photo but I was not choosing a weapon. Perhaps this was some kind of pop-up ads on the Internet."
