Censor.NET editor-in-chief Yurii Butusov writes on his Facebook page that as of now Oleksandra Kuzhel is regarded as one of the main opposition candidates for the mayor of Kyiv.
Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov stated that the election of mayor and city council will be held in May 2013, and Vitali Klitschko registered a bill to appoint Kyiv elections on June 3.
Also, one of the candidates from the United Opposition sees himself as a nominee is deputy Volodymyr Bondarenko. In a commentary to Censor.NET Kuzhel noted that "For us, the main thing is a single candidate from the opposition forces, including those Udar. "Then we are guaranteed to win the pro government candidate. It is also important to agree on a single candidate to put forward from Batkivschyna, Udar and Svoboda in all plurality (single constituency) districts. I'm ready to stand aside for the sake of the opposition's single candidate for mayor of the capital. This is the main condition for the victory over the Party of Regions in Kyiv."
