 Snow Paralyzes Traffic in Kyiv: Cars Drive 7-10 km/hour

Ukrainian capital records a maximum score of traffic congestion on the roads - 8 out of 10.

According to Yandex.Traffic, maximum congestion is observed at Chokolovskyy Boulevard, Hetmana and Dovzhenko streets - the traffic jams there extend for 3.5 km with cars moving at a speed of 10 km / h.

Also the traffic is dense at Kurbas prospekt, Komarova prospect and. Borshchahivska street. In 4 km long traffic jams the cars are moving at a speed of 7 km / h.

Myropilska street has a jam of almost 2 km, with the speeds up to 7 km / h. On leaving the Brovarskyy prospect the length of a jam is 1.8 km with cars traveling at a speed of 10 km / h.

Traditionally, the traffic is dense in the center of Kyiv, the speed of the majority being below 10 km / h. In particular, the most overloaded streets are Verknii Val and Nyzhnii Val, Vorovskogo, Zhylianska, Lesia Ukrainka Blvd, Bessarabska Square and Saksaganskogo street.
