Son of Regions deputy Mykola Yankovskyy (former owner of Stirol concern) Ihor bought a Manhattan town house for $ 22.375 million.

A town house on Central Park West comes with its own 60-foot lappool. It was sold for $22.375 million - the biggest sale of theweek, according to city public records, The New York Timesreports.

In addition to a pool, the house has a fitness/massage area; alarge media room; five bedrooms, including a master suite thattakes up an entire floor; two terraces; and a landscapedgarden.

The new owner is Ihor Yankovskyy, a foreign buyer who bought thehouse through a limited liability company, Top Estate (NY),according to city records. The buyer was represented by MatthewLesser, a broker for Leslie J. Garfield and Company, who said onlythat the house was to be used as a private home but might first beleased for a period of time.

The six-story single-family town house is located on the UpperWest Side. It is one of just a handful of single-family homes thatface the park.

Its previous owner Mr. Monda used the home to display his vastcollection of modern art.

Before that the house was owned by Abigail E. Disney (grandniece ofWalt Disney) who had gut-renovated the house.

Earlier Yankovskyy bought a barrel of elite French wine for270 thousand euros at an auction in France which provides anopportunity to host ex-President of France Nicolas Sarkozy and hiswife Carla Bruni.

According to the spokesman of the Bichot home which held theauction, "Yankovskyy plans to sell this barrel at a higher price atan auction in Kyiv to give money to arts programs for abandonedchildren."
