Opposition is Ready to Face the Regions During Budget 2013 Voting

The Party of Regions expects to adopt the budget on Thursday without the help of the Communists.

In an interview to Kommersant-Ukraine head of the parliamentary faction of the Party of Regions, Oleksandr Yefremov stated: ""I don't think that will be a big challenge to pass the law in the current parliament," he said.

However the opposition says that it is possible they will block the podium and expect a physical fight with Party of Regions deputies during the voting.

"Thursday we will see an interesting political game. I hope that the opposition will be able to protect the interests of the country," said a member of the parliamentary budget committee Semerak (BYuT-Batkivschyna).

"The draft budget 2013 must be submitted by a new government and accepted by the new parliament," he added.

Earlier, the leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine Petro Symonenko said that the party would not vote for the budget.
