This was stated by deputy and former head of the Crimean police Hennadii Moskal, reports NR.
"There are a lot of people unhappy with Mohylev in Crimea and they want his resignation. My position is that these pogroms (riots) are to show that he cannot cope with the situation, that it's out of control, the Crimea is on the verge of ethnic conflict," said the deputy.
"The arson of the mosque is simply a crime, no one could imagine it. By such radical actions they want to show that it is time for Mohylev to be removed. It is done in his surrounding, in the party. And this information about the burning of the unbuilt mosque, the pogrom of squatter buildings and lands will go to Yanukovych and conclusions will be made," said Moskal.
