 Another Bukovina Village Announces Romanian Regional Language

Nyzhni Petrvitsi village of Chernivtsy oblast grants Romanian the status of the regional language.

This is stated in a letter of the village council chairman to deputy Hennadiy Moskal his the press office informed Censor.NET.

The implementation of the provisions of the language law in the village council is conducted by a special working group.

According to the State Statistics Service, the Romanian language is native for more than 95 percent of the residents of the Nyzhni Petrvitsi.

It was reported earlier that on September 11 Tarasovtsi village council, Chernivtsi oblast, decided to grant Romanian (Moldovan) a regional status in the village.
