Censor.NET reports that according to data published on the website of the CEC he was ahead of his main rival Svoboda's Levchenko by 442 votes.
The day before Pylypyshyn filed the request to stop the re-count. Earlier during the re-count the ballots for Levchenko were spoiled, invalid, and thus Pylypyshyn beat rival. At night commission, controlled by Pylypyshyn, adopted a proposal on the remaining areas counted only packages with documentation, not counting the ballots themselves. Levchenko said that according to the primary he was beating Pylypyshyn by a marging of 900 votes.
