Batkivschyna Claims Sabotage of Vote Counting in Two Kyiv Stations

Batkivschyna claims sabotage of vote counting in 214 and 216 districts of Kyiv (Dniprovskyy and Darnytskyy districts). According to observers from the opposition, election officials received instructions not to perform the counting of votes for the plurality candidates.

According to Batkivschyna press service, Yuriy Odarchenko (head of Kyiv election HQ of the opposition) stated that sabotage of vote counting began after reports of the majority of votes in favor of opposition candidates Kseniya Lyapina (216th District) and Victor Chumak (214th District). The main competitors of the opposition in these districts are a former Kyiv city council secretary Oles Dovgyy and a deputy of the Party of Regions and a relative of the ex-mayor of Chernivtsi Oleksander Suprunenko.
