Azarov Complains that TV Do Not Show Enough of Him and Yanukovych

Prime Minister Mykola Azarov claims that the Party of Regions and positive results of its activities are scarcely covered on Ukrainian TV.

In an interview to Channel 5 he said: "They often say that allegedly the mass media is mostly working for the Party of Regions. I would advise those diplomats to spend a couple of hours every evening during a week to see our materials on TV. They are usually very simple: they show the President who shakes hands with some diplomats at some meeting, then the Prime Minister who says something for 5 seconds," said Azarov.

"And then they only run stories about bad roads, a roof falling somewhere, some other negative things. It's like the roads were great two years ago and the roofs did not fall anywhere," he said.

He also complained that one cannot find news pieces on any Ukrainian channel about the openings of new hospitals, schools, kindergartens, roads, bridges, junctions.
