On 28 August a well-known organizer of paid meetings was killed in Kiev.

The announcement of his death was posted by his assistant Dmitriy Shevchenko on the page of the deceased on one of the social networks.

"GUYS, today we lost our director Ruslan Bagmut. Everyone who knew him will remember HIM as an honest, good person, a kind soul, a people's person and simply someone who is always ready to help...", wrote Shevchenko.

The coordinator of Forum of Kiev Rescue campaign Vitaliy Chernyahovskiy wrote that Ruslan Bagmut was thrown from the 16th floor by unknown persons at 81/1 Honore de Balzac street.

The deceased was known for coordinating paid meetings and mass events. "Volunteers" were hired through his page in social network and a group created specifically for the election work. The group had over 10.5 thousand participants. The deceased often had financial disputes related to his work.

One of the people who employed his services was an ex-deputy of the Party of Regions Oleg Kalashnikov who ordered a meeting on the day of Tymoshenko's case hearing . Bagmut made a statement in this regard: "I want to tell everyone that the Party of Regions screws people out of money. Two days ago the Regions deputy Oleg Kalashnikov ordered a meeting from us. He said that we need to come to the court building because there is a hearing of Tymoshenko's case. He told us that we will be supporters of the Party of Regions. I brought 280 people. Altogether there were around 2 thousand people. We spent the whole day there and nobody was paid".
