As reported by Censor.NET referring to BukInfo, deputies of the Chernivtsi City Council gathered for an extraordinary session at about 3 a.m. March 14. The session did not last long and was attended by 23 out of 42 members of the city council.
Those present took 15 minutes to vote for the release of the activists detained during the dispersal of the blockade, dismissal of National Police Chief in the Donetsk region Viacheslav Abroskin, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, and Head of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center Vitalii Malikov.
The deputies also demand to stop calling war in Ukraine "the anti-terrorist operation," cease any relations with occupied areas of the Luhansk and Donetsk region, pass the law on temporary occupied territory, and take control of Russia-owned strategic facilities inside Ukraine.
