 Judge Kytsiuk slanders police officers and lies to Judicial Council on circumstances of her detention, - patrol police head Zhukov. VIDEO

Patrol police officers who detained Solomianskyi court Judge Viktoria Kytsiuk might be charged with criminal offense for exceeding of power.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by formed officer of thr 79th Separate Airmobile Brigade Yevhen Zhukov, callsign Marshall, head of the patrol police department of the Interior Ministry on his Facebook page.

Zhukov posted a video of the detention. According to his version of the event, the judge allegedly parked her car blocking the traffic and was asked by police passing by to take the car away. Instead, Kytsiuk said the car was not hers and started calling the Prosecutor General's Office with requests to help her out. She refused to show her documents and was detained by patrol police officers.

After the incident, Kytsiuk filed a complaint against patrol police officers on exceeding their power and is seeking criminal charges against them. She is widely supported across the judicial community of Ukraine.

Zhukov says that if this "minor story" is turned to a large-scale scandal, "how does this entire organization of myrmidons of law hold court hearings?"

Zhukov says he wants this story "to get to the president."

"All she had to do was to take away the car and show her documents!!! Just do what the law and police officer say!" Zhukov wrote.
