The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has given its consent to criminal prosecution, detention, and pretrial confinement of Judge of the Dniprovskyi district court of Kyiv Mykola Chaus suspected of corruption.

This is reported by a correspondent for Censor.NET.

The relevant draft resolution No. 5070 (on detention of Judge Chaus) was supported by 281 lawmakers, while 279 MPs voted for the draft resolution No. 5071 (on pretrial confinement of Judge Chaus).
