As reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Defense Ministry, the trainees practiced covering landing areas along the coastal line with anti-airborne mine barriers.
The military engineers also fortified positions at the sea coast and disposed of explosives.
For the training, the engineers employed amphibious tracked carriers and excavators. All of the tasks have been completed, the leader of the training said.
"The military engineers were trained to prepare the coastal line to a landing of an enemy amphibious hop by conducting a full range of anti-airborne measures. During the drills, we paid attention to safety measures as well," the leader of the training said.
