 Four Ukrainian servicemen wounded as militants launched 55 attacks yesterday, - ATO HQ

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone remains complicated.

The militants attacked Ukrainian positions 55 times yesterday. The pro-Russian hybrid forces increased the use of artillery banned by the Minsk agreements. Four soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were wounded over the past 24 hours, Censor.NET reports citing ATO Headquarters.

In the Prymorske sector, 26 militants' attacks were recorded. In particular, the militants shelled Ukrainian positions near Shyrokyne and Hnutove with banned 120 mm mortars. Shyrokyne and Berdianske strongholds were mortared with 122 mm shells. The militants fired at Vodiane, Pavlopil and Novohrygorivka strongholds from grenade launchers and small arms. Positions near Marinka and Krasnohorivka were attacked from 82 mm mortars and light weapons. One of the militants' 82 mm shells fell to Krasnohorivka residential area. No destructions and casualties among civilians were reported.

In the Donetsk sector, the militants launched 16 attacks against Ukrainian soldier. The situation in the southern and eastern suburbs of Avdiivka remains the most difficult. Last night, the militants fired at Ukrainian soldiers from 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, as well as small arms and grenade launchers. The pro-Russian hybrid forces shelled Verkhniotoretske strongholds with 82 mm mortars and fired from small arms. The militants hit Ukrainian soldiers at Svitlodarsk salient with IFVs and heavy machine guns.

In the Luhansk sector, 13 attacks were recorded, including the use of heavy artillery weapons and rocket launcher systems. Last night, the militants shelled Troitske strongholds with BM-21 Grad rockets and 152 mm and 122 mm artillery. Ukrainian positions near Novooleksandrivka were hit with 122 mm barrel artillery. Novozvanivka and Popasna strongholds were mortared with 120 mm and 82 mm shells. Positions near Valuiske, Krymske and Stanytsia Luhanska came under small arms and grenade launcher fire.
