Censor.NET correspondent reports from the court.
The court's press secretary Inna Svynarenko said the court proposed three options of Yanukovych's participation in the trial.
The first is to use their device with True comf software. The second is to use the defense's device with the same software. The third option offered to Yanukovych's lawyers is a Skype channel.
However, Yanukovych's lawyer Vitalii Serdiuk said prior to the hearing that all these options are out of question.
He stated that the court must officially ask Rostov regional court of Russia to summon Yanukovych for interrogation.
Serdiuk says the official request is necessary to keep up with the procedure. This is the only way for the court in Rostov to confirm the identity of former president and for his words to have legal effect.
Prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko, in his turn, said that Yanukovych has been provided with all necessary means to participate in the process. He also said that as long as Yanukovych is a suspect in the case, not a witness, his official interrogation is only possible through personal presence in the court room.
As reported, former Ukraine's President Victor Yanukovych has been charged with high treason and suspected of embezzlement of state funds in large amounts.
