 Trump reaffirms US support for Ukraine to peacefully resolve Donbas conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump reaffirmed his desire to work with Ukrainian partners to peacefully resolve conflict in Ukraine's east.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the press office of the White House, Vice President Mike Pence met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin today.

The vice president emphasized unwavering U.S. support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He underscored that the Minsk agreements remain the most viable path towards peace.

Following that meeting, President Trump spoke with the Foreign Minister and reaffirmed U.S. support for Ukraine and his desire to work with Ukrainian partners to peacefully resolve the conflict.

Earlier, Trump and Klimkin met in the White House to discuss the situation in the Donbas and further U.S. efforts to support Kyiv. The meeting was preceded by talks between Klimkin and U.S. Vice President Michael Pence.
