Russian hybrid forces continue armed provocations against anti-terrorist operation forces in the Donbas.

This is reported by Censor.NET referring to the ATO HQ press center.

"37 attacks on Ukrainian positions were recorded in the past day," the message says.

In the Mariupol sector, the enemy used 122 mm Grad-P MPADs, 82 mm mortars, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against Ukrainian marines' positions near the village of Shyrokyne. The enemy also fired 82 mm mortars on Krasnohorivka. Attacks on Ukrainian strong points around Vodiane involved IFV weaponry, various types of grenade launchers and heavy machine guns. The use of anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms was reported in the vicinity of Hnutove. Occupiers also fired heavy machine guns and grenade launchers on Ukrainian troops near Pavlopil and Novoselivka Druha.

In the Donetsk sector, Ukrainian strong points near Butivka mine were hit by 120 mm mortars. Defenders of Zaitseve came under 82 mm mortar, anti-tank grenade launcher and small arms fire. Militants also used 82 mm mortars and heavy machine guns against defenders of Avdiivka. Attacks on positions near Novhorodske involved IFV weaponry, heavy machine guns and small arms. Various types of grenade launchers and heavy machine guns were used in the area of Kamianka. Moreover, the enemy used IFVs against Ukrainian strongholds near Troitske, anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns against positions near Pisky.

In the Luhansk sector, 120 mm mortars and anti-tank grenade launchers were employed against defenders of Novooleksandrivka.

Attacks on positions around Valuiske and Novozvanivka involved various types of grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Russian proxies also used automatic grenade launchers against defenders of Krymske.

"In some cases, when there was an immediate threat to the life and health of servicemen, commanders ordered to return fire," the headquarters reported.

As previously reported, on May 9, Russian-terrorist forces committed 70 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the ATO area. One serviceman was killed, two were wounded.
