The Ukrainian army is ready for a possible declaration of martial law in the event of Russia's open armed aggression. Deputy Defense Minister Ihor Pavlovskyi said at the 2nd Ukrainian Forum on Defense and Security, Censor.NET reports citing LIGA.net.
"If martial law is introduced, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to fulfill orders by the state leadership on the transition to a full-use mode. There are no problems here," he said.
According to him, during three years of Russia's undeclared war against Ukraine, "virtually the entire" mechanism of army operating under martial law has been "fully worked out."
