13 suicide attempts among minors were recorded in the annexed Crimea in the first quarter of 2017, four of which were fatal.

This was announced by the head of the Kremlin-controlled Crimean social center for family, children and youth Andrey Arkhangelsky, Censor.NET reports citing Argumenty Nedeli-Krym.

"The main reasons for the suicidal attempts among minors were conflict family relationships," the statement reads.

The leaders of Crimean territorial centers were instructed to take measures on the early identification of adolescents at risk to prevent suicide attempts.
