 Ukrainian military died in Kyiv region, suicide note found at his body, - prosecutor

An officer who had been found dead in Vasylkiv military unit could have committed a suicide.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by military prosecutor of Kyiv garrison Roman Hryshchenko on air of 112 Ukraine.

The late senior lieutenant experienced personal and financial problems. The man, born in 1976, had served in the army for more than 10 years, and didn't have a conflict with his comrades. Law enforcers are investigating the case as a suicide.

"A suicide note was found at the body. A number of expertise have been scheduled, including forensic, ballistic, and graphologic," Hryshchenko said.

As reported earlier, the military died due to a gunshot wound in a military unit of the Vasylkiv garrison of the Kyiv region on April 17 at 5 p.m.
