According to the procedure, lawmakers held a preferential voting to pick nine nominees for members of the Accounting Chamber out of 28 candidates.

However, the elected nominees were subsequently supported only by 211 MPs at the required minimum of 226. Having heard all the representatives of parliamentary factions, Speaker Andrii Parubii suggested a reappointment of Accounting Chamber members, but his proposal was not supported.

Parubii proceeded to ask the Budget Committee to announce another competition to choose new staff of the Accounting Chamber.
